Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 4 Send Message	Any history please on John Parker my Great, Great Grandfather who married Bess Abbott- born about 1930ish They owned a sweet shop in Pulloxhill, Bedfordshire around the 1860's. John used to go into Luton to fetch his weekly supplies for his shop by horse and cart. They had one son who was also named John and who later owned a hat factory in Luton. I believe (although I have not done the homework) that he had daughters. Bess and John also had two daughters one of whom was named Elizabeth. The girls could not write and John was the only 'scholar'
