Trying to find Parker

This is probably a long shot but I would love to know about my grandfather and have no idea. His name was Walter Parker and he lived all his adult life in Sheffield. However he always said he originally came from Ireland and his name wasn't Parker but he took the name of the man who took him in. He did have at least two sisters who also lived in Sheffield but there was no contact, again we do not know the reason why.He was married to a lady called Kit Caroline, she was his second wife, the first was the mother of his chilren Gordon and Vincent. As both my grandparents and my father are dead you can see the difficulties I am facing in tracing the paternal side of my family...any help out there would be much appreciated |
