Hi there, I am looking for any information concerning my Grandad's family. His name was John Parker and he was born in Haltwhistle, Northumberland in 1901 and died in 1953. He moved down to Surrey and married my grandmother, Ellen Fraser. I think his parents were a William Banks Parker born c1870 and an Annie Dryden. He also has a sister named Elsie Dryden. I'm led to believe that William Banks Parker was born in Allendale and had two brothers, John E. and Thomas A. and that his parents names may have been Edward and Charlotte. Apologies for being so vague but hoping it may ring some bells. Already I have kindly received some assistance but am hoping for more affirmative connections. Regards Rick Parker |
