Trying to find Parker

My name is Paul Parker. I was born in Liverpool in June 1955. I am very interested in hearing about my roots. My great-grandfather was George William Parker, who was a successful career fireman in Bootle during the late 19th Cent. His son, Harold Inatius Parker married Ann McNicholas in 1929. I am curious and hopeful that there may be some people out there who may be related to me. There are virtually no elder members of my family left, so any sort of info would be really appreciated. As far as I know, George wasn't a native of Bootle or Liverpool. He had close family in Lancashire, including Blackpool. The fire station he was involved with is still standing and used today! It is in Derby Road in Bootle. His family were closely tied with Freemasonry, and I would imagine that he was a Freemason too. I've prattled on enough now, so if there's any Bootle/Liverpool Parkers out there who think they may be able to help, give us a shout!
