I have got back to 1848 when my great grandfather was born.
He was Robert Westray Pearson of 34 Ennerdale Road, Cleater
Moor (painter by trade) who married Ellen (b.1853) and they
went on to have 8 children - Annie, Florence, Helen, Joseph,
Lily, Mary, Philip and Thomas (b1876) who was my grandfaather and when he married, he moved to 10, Scotch Street, Whitehaven.
He and his wife, Mary, had 3 children, Robert, Alexander (my father) and Dorrie.
Can anyone help me go back further than 1848
