Surrey History Centre (Woking) - Lookup

My Great Uncle Dennis Pearson b.1916 Acton Middlesex was sent to the 'Gordon Boys Home' West End Woking aged 14 after his parents died in 1928. Unfortunately he died in a swimming pool accident at the school between 1929-1931. I have a letter sent by the school indicating he was buried in the grounds of the Holy Trinity church.
Can anyone assist in researching any details about him from the History Centre (admission to the school etc), the local press (details of the accident etc) or the Holy Trinity Church (Burial/Gravestone).
I understand that the collection of school records (ref. 8201) which includes the admission registers (1885-1952) are stored in the Surrey History Centre.
If anyone is able to give advise or assistance I would be deeply indebted.

Heather

I dont think a registration would depend on finding relatives. Any delay could be due to an inquest.

If no one is able to help, why not email the records centre?
