Find Ancestors

I am trying to find details of Joseph Rhodes,(my ggrandfather)'s parents and siblings. I have his marriage and death certificates. He sailed to New Zealand with his family on the "Queen of Age" in 1874 and died in New Zealand in August 1914. The certificate says he was 80, his father was Edward Rhodes his mother was Isabella, and he was born in Staffordshire. Family folklore has it that he had 5 sisters..Has anybody any more details?

Joseph married Anne Isabelle McCourt. I have some details of her family, but none of Joseph's family.
The family of Edward posted above looks like it could be his, but
Joseph's youngest daughter was named Ellen Hannah Letitia Euphemia Grace, allegedly after Joseph's sisters. However I know that some of those names are in Anne McCourt's family tree.
The Joseph married to Sarah is not my Joseph.

Where did the marriage of Joseph and Ann McCourt take place?
Was it in England?

Have you found any of the births of Joseph's children, especially Ellen Hannah Letitia Euphemia Grace?

Thank you to all for your help. The Joseph who married Ann Isabell McCourt is my grandfather. His mother's name of Isabell is shown on his Death Certificate. As this would have been completed by one of the family it could well be incorrect. They could have been confused with his wife.
On the ship which transported the family to New Zealand was also a passenger Jane Rhodes, age 40. She has engendered much speculation within my family. It may be that she was Joseph's sister in law, especially as Joseph and Ann's eldest daughter travelled separately from the family with Jane. The daughter was 12.

Thanks Cherylin. That does look like the same Jane. This leaves a further mystery. In the 1861 census Jane had a husband and three children. If she is the same Jane she travelled to NZ as a single female. What happened to the husband and children? Details of the family are in Madbull's posting of 24 February above.
The entry in the NZ BDM records of Clara is news to us. We have no births between William and Amelie Kate, who is my grandmother. Did Clara die young?

Jane's chn were aged 4, 6 & 8 in 1861, so by 1874 they were all old enough (in those days) to be in the workforce. Do you know if Edward died?

This could well be little Clara's death at 6 weeks:

Going by the low reg no's I'd say it was quite early on in the year.

I have also found another birth after Clara. Hannah was born in 1880 and died in 1881 aged 3 months.
