Hi, can anyone help. My G. Grandmother was Susan Ring, born 1847c Susan Hone) A few possibles in records but no positive links as I dont have any definate info. Dont know her husbands name but he died aged 44yrs.They had 4 daughters that I know of Effi,Millie,Nellie and Gertrude (my nan) Cant get any further with tree as so many missing links. Grandad Alfred William Jarman, born 1869 W.Ham married 1891 had 3 sons poss Alfred, Cyril, other? as a widower he then married Gertrude Ring, they had 3 children, my mother being one of them. She remembers a young man,Leonard, calling at the house who would have been the son of one of her fathers older boys. His previous family were sadly never talked about as my nan jealously forbade it. Now, My mum, now in her late eighties would love to know more about her half brothers and their families, hence my search. any leads to either the Ring or Jarman families would be much appreciated, thanks. |

Have you tried putting the names in the Search Trees box, to see if anybody has them in their tree? |

This could possibly be Gertrude's birth. Note that she has an initial 'C' on her marriage registration |

If you look on freebmd site and type in Susan HONE with a spouse of surname RING, there is a match for a William Thomas. |

This looks like her on the 1891 with the sister who could have been nicknamed Effie |

I have a feeling that Caroline lied about her age on some of the census years. |

I think the 1861 census above is right but James is her grandfather, not her father. |
