HI. I AM THE WIFE OF JOHN ROBERTS ONE OF ROBERT ROBERTS CHILDREN. WE KNOW HE HAD AT LEAST 15 CHILDREN AND ONLY KNOW DETAILS OF 10. HE MARRIED MANY TIMES AND HAD MANY LOVERS INCLUDING HAZEL WOODS, AUDREY CANNING, HILDA DOWNHAM AND TERESA CLAYDON. CAN ANYONE HELP LOCATE THE OTHER CHILDREN? HE WAS BORN IN WEST HAM IN 1928 AND HAD 2 SISTERS, BRENDA AND ROSE AND A BROTHER CALLED JOHN.

I have asked as many family members as I am in contact with, including his last wife who is the step-mum of my husband. His 1st marriage was around 1945, then 1956,1960,1962 and 1971. I am pretty sure the missing children were born in the earlier years of his life as from 1957-1971 I have 9 children already and he would have to have been very busy to have more then. I only have one listed before that born approx 1946.

Thats what im trying to find out. Is like looking fro a needle in a haystack. Unfortunately I am not in contact with any of his previous wives. In most cases when the women left him he kept the children and they were never heard from again.
I know he went to war underage and was stationed in germany for some of that time.
