Hi everyone,
I am hoping someone out there can help me find Walter Henry Roberts in the 1901 census. He was born on 29th December 1895 in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. His Parents were Joseph Roberts and Mary Ann Roberts (nee Chapman).

Hi Susan. I have just looked on the 1901 census and they are correctly spelt on the site I was on.

Joseph 35. 1866. Born Wightwick.Leicestershire. Living Hucknall Talkard
Mary A 31 1870 Born Wightwick
Walter H. 5. 1896 Born Hucknall Talkard.

Parents married. 1893. April/June Qtr. reg in Ashby de la Zouch. vol 7a 218.

Do you have this info. If not, a copy of the marriage certificate will give you their Fathers names and noccupations and witnesses who may be siblings.
Also, they will appear on other census records.

Thanks Ethel, with Andrew's information i found the marriage of Walter's parents and have sent for the certificate, hopefully it confirms the records i found in the census's for 1891, 1881 and 1871. Sue
