Find Ancestors

Can someone please help me track down William Roberts in either 1841 or 1861?

I have found him in 1851 -

I'd like to find him in 1841 and also find his wife's maiden name and if possible, when he died...unfortunately William Roberts is a very, very common name!

Thanks for that. It certainly looks like him..I simply "presumed" he would have 'popped his cloggs' by then!

I'm now wondering what else happened, if he a Stepfather in 1871

Looks like an impossible task.

There are 5,774 William Roberts on the Welsh census for 1841.

You can check death registrations on

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com but age wasn't put on registrations until 1866 so you would need to know when he was last recorded on a census.

EDIT at a closer look I think it may be the second entry for 1841. The image looks to me like it says No in the born in county column.
