Find Ancestors

Born to William John ROBERTS, 1914, and Audrey Cicely BOUNDY, (Maiden Name SMITH), 1916. They Married in 1949, and then lived in LISKEARD, Cornwall. Both are dead. William was in the Police Force. Did they have any more children? Children may have the Surname of ROBERTS and the Mother's name may be shown as BOUNDY, (and not Smith). Boundy was her first married name. A son born in 1951, Keiran Roberts, had his Mothers's name as Boundy on the Birth Cert. and not Smith. The Registry office said that sometimes this was done in the past. Unfortunately, Keiran died in 1996, and so I am trying to find out if there were any other children born between 1952-1966. Thanks to the kind people who have helped me!

Surely children born to this marriage would be registered with their mothers maiden name, (Smith)
NOT her previous husbands surname (Boundy) ????
