Trying to find records of Richard Roberts

I am trying to find records of Richard Roberts from Denbighshire in Wales born c1784. He possibly lived in Bangor or Ruabon and had one son at least called Thomas who was born c1833. Unsure what his wifes name was.

I can't find any records at all off him at all so would be grateful for any help.

Thanks for your help Sharon. I have found a document showing Thomas (richards son) at age 26 in 1861 which confirms his birth year as 1833. The thomas in your records is 10 years old.

I have just found out from a relative tha it was a family tradition to call all first born sons Thomas. Maybe his real name was Thomas but was known as Richard to save confusion. I will investigate this theory.

Any info you can find out I am grateful for.
