I don't know much about Owen other than that he was born 1776 in wales and he married Elizabeth Owens in wales I do know they had a son Hugh Roberts born carrovon wales 1832 and that he married a Isabella Riddell in brisbane Isabella was born Glasgow lanarkshire scotland and travelled to australia on the "Ganghis Khan 1854.

Do you maybe mean Caernarvon? - no such place as Carrovon as far as I am aware

Have you maybe looked for baptisms etc in www.freereg.org.uk
Not heaps on there as yet but at least it has Welsh info, which is most unexpected and lots of lovely pre 1837.
Also - Qld bmd's online...easy to look up www.justice.qld.gov.au

the death of Hugh Roberts - 1914/Ref.18983
father: Owen Roberts - mother: Elizabeth Owens
I have looked at marriages: - can't find Hugh Roberts to an Isabella Riddle for some reason!.
You can order the above death cert. will tell you more, but remember...the person filling out the death cert. did not always know the correct info.
If you want I will look up the electrol rolls on Wednesday when I do my volunteer day at local family history.

Found: at Lutwyche Cemetery....which is just north of city, Lutwyche popular cem...I have many rels there.
