Hello, could i ask for a 1911 lookup for a John Henry Roberts, not sure if he was born 1869 or 1879, his wife was called Edith Margaret, born abt 1878, John was born in bedwellty, Edith was born in swansea, would like to know who was living in the same house hold, also, i`m looking for Johns parents, Henry roberts born abt 1850, in Mynyddyslwyn, monmouthshire, his wife was Ann born abt 1853, in bedwellty,
any help would be appreciated, as non of my family know anything about this side of the family

If you have a birth certificate, you will probably find that Henry Roberts married Ann Evans.

On the 1891 census Jane Evans is living with the family (mother-in-law)

I have just looked at the original of the 1911 census.

Henry Roberts and 'Annie' Roberts have been married for 4 years.

Under the heading 'children born alive during present marriage' it says there have been 12 children born - 7 are still alive and 5 have died.

This has been crossed through.

Henry and Annie have only been married 4 years.

This is obviously a second marriage. Ann has, I think, died between 1901 and 1911.


This is probably the second marriage -
