I'm trying to find my father's aunt, Edith Ann Roberts. She was born in 1871 and was the daughter of Robert Roberts Station master at Abercarn station in Monmouthshire. I can't find her after the 1891 census. I never heard my father mention her and we never ever saw her. I'd be grateful for any information |

The most common reason for a female of her age "Disappearing" from census records is that they got married and thenceforth were known by their husbands surname. |

Idon't know if e veryone will get this message, but thankyou very much for your help. I'm in poor health at the moment so if I keep disappearing I'm probably prone in bed! This whole procedure is driving me mad but absolutely fascinating. |
