Please please can anyone help,

I am trying to find the family of a lady called

ELSIE JANE HODGE born on 16th July 1903 in Devon who married WILLIAM JOHN ELLIS ROBERTS on 25th June 1932 in Bristol. ELSIE died aged 45 on 5th January 1949 in Portsmouth of cancer, she had a child in 1940 called Raymond Stephen Roberts, although we believe that he was illegitimate and was put up for adoption!!!!!
WILLIAM JOHN ELLIS ROBERTS was in the royal navy on a ship called H.M.S VERNON where he was a Chief Petty Officer.

does anyone have a connection? or know of this lady? or of this child? please please we need your help.
