Hi, My name is Karen Ashington. My grandfather is callled Arthur Roberts, whose father is called William Roberts. They came from Claverdon. The blacksmiths where my greatgrandfather worked still exists in Claverdon. There were many Roberts's, one of which was called Martha. I unknowingly called my daughter Martha and I would be grateful for any info regarding Martha Roberts who was born in Claverdon or any of the other Roberts's. There were 15 children of William and Elizabeth (formerly Brierley (or Brearley). Thomas (went to Canada), Mary, Emma, William, Martha (bap 11/4/1886) Ellen (went to Canada), James, Edith, Harold (killed in 1917 duing WW1), Walter, Richard, Ida Lucy, Harry, George and Elizabeth. Any info would be gratefully received. Thank you. |
