Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 0 Send Message	Does anybody have connections to Robert Roberts born Shrewsbury Shropshire c1851. He married a Ruth Wood born Bolton lancs c1853/4. All their children were born in Bolton. Robert was a bootmaker. They had 7 children of whom the eldest Thomas born 29/5/1874 was my dad's adoptive father. I am trying to prove a link between Thomas and a Fanny Roberts, married name Dearden, who was the mother of my father' birth mother. Because it was an informal adoption we think that Fanny and Robert may have been brother and sister.
