Hi, I know this is like looking for a needle in a haystack but I wonder if anyone may know what happened to one of my ancestors. Alexander Robertson was born in Glasgow in 1875. His Parents were Alexander Robertson & Jane nee Ryrie. He married my Grt Grandmother in 1895 & in 1898 moved to Manchester. He deserted her around 1903 & I have no idea what happened to him. I wonder whether he went back to Scotland or stayed in the Manchester area. Any help would be appreciated. Anybody who has an Alexander Robertson in their tree born in Glasgow in 1875 please contact me. Sue |
