Hi all
Trying to find info on Eric George Robinson 1902/4 Father Joseph Robert Robinson., Joseph was a steward Eric married in Guernsey to Lillian May Barrasin in 1930 witnesses to marriage Rodrick Donauld Robinson and A.J Barrasin.Info Prior to the marriage please.

The marriage certificate should give you both fathers names and possibly the ages of the bride & groom

Do you know Eric's mothers name or was this just a guess ?

I have the info of the marriage his father is Joseph , eric was 26 years old when he married I have all the info of his wifes side, I am looking for Erics family prior to their marriage Sorry I am looking for info on Eric The marriage above could be his father.Also Rodrick could be his brother ,a bit stuck on this one


no I don't know his mothers name

The marriage you posted is in Darlington, which I think is in Yorkshire.
Does this seem a possible place of birth for Eric ?

Could not find any births for a Rodrick Robinson, so he was no help.

Another thought !!

What was Eric's occupation ?
Maybe he did an apprenticeship, and could possibly be traced through that?
Just a wild thought.

I guess he would just learn 'on the job'

Oh, well. Have a think about a birth place.
Yorkshire didn't look to promising for the dates you gave.
Do you know what day & month his birthday was.
Narrow the field by which 1/4 it is.

No julie all i have is born england on the marriage age 26 years so 1904 i would say married in august 12th

This is looking more & more like one of those problems that you hope that the 1911 census will help solve !

Except none of us want to wait that long for the solution !
