Are you related to the late Ethel Alice Florence Robinson known as Sis. I would like to know who her parents were. She had one brother Albert and two sisters that I know of. One was Marie who had no children and another sister who had a son Dai or David.
"Sis" lived most of her life in the North London area of Edmonton & married Thomas Walters known as "Tim". She was my husband's grandmother. We know a lot about other sides of his family but do not have much about "Sis"s family.

Is this about the right date for your Ethel ?? you would need to get her birth cert for her Parents names.
However you really need to see marriage cert. first to verify who her father was

This is her birth reference. The certificate will give you her parent's names and you can then look for them in the 1901 census:-

I am not sayng this are the right ones for you--just a possable.

It is nearlly as hard to track the Robinson name as Smith--Jones etc.--- I know, my Mum was a Robinson before she married. (my side are mostly from South Yorkshire !!)

I believe this info. is correct, my husband remembers his great uncles and Aunts. His great uncle Albert had 3 children, Janice, Beryl and Alan hopefully I can now contact these three as well as Hilda's son who I presume is Dai/David.perhaps their relations may see this query?
