I am trying to find names & detail of the crew members of the Southport lifeboats:-
1840 The Rescue
1861 Jessie Knowles
1875 Eliza Fernley
1886 Mary Anna
1888 Edith and Annie
1902 Three Brothers
1904 John Harling
I have some crew names but not many. Any info would be great.

Try the RNLI HQ based in Poole, Dorset

Thanks for the advice.
Although I must say I haven't had much help from them in the past. That maybe because the Southport lifeboat is funded by the "offshore rscue trust" and not the RNLi.

There are some good photos of the Southport Lifeboat station at:

Picture 6 shows the Royal National Lifeboat Institution named in the background so it may still be worth contacting them unless you know that it has always been independent of the RNLI
