Find Ancestors

Hi, I've been trying to locate the death of a Hyman Robinson c1954. Believed to have been born in the Liverpool area.
I've found a Hyman Robinson born in 1908, which could be him.

Hyman was married to Tilley Dansky at Birkenhead in Sept. 1934.
Tilley went to Atlanta, Georgia in 1951 where she died in May 1985. I presumed that she went with her husband and that I would find his death registered there, but nothing shows up.

A while ago, I found an entry on one of the Georgia sites from a Ray Robinson who was looking for the same family. He seemed to think that Tilley went to the USA after the death of Hyman Robinson, which doesn't appear to be correct by his D.O.D.
(I tried to contact Ray, but his email add. must have changed)

I am now wondering if he died in the Liverpool area.

Any help on this one would be much appreciated.

unfortunately the deaths arent transcribed yet on Ancestry so its a trawl the the registers for each year by the quarter

do you have his marriage cert to Tilley.this will give his age and hopefully his dads name.
The death found in 1954 is aged 54 so born c 1900 not 1908.

you also say Tilley went to Georgia in 1951 and it seems was maybe after the death of Hyman so this must have been pre 1951??

The "Edge Hill" bit rings a bell, and It looks like Hyman could have been born earlier. Thanks so much for passing that info. on.

No, I havn't got the marriage cert. for Tilley. This family is on my cousin's side of the family. She doesn't have a computer....hence I'm trying to help out.

Tilley definately went to the USA in 1951. I have a copy of her on the NY
passenger List, so I fancy that Tilley went to Atlanta on her own to one of her sister's who had already emmigrated over there.

The "after the death" of Hyman bit was put in the article by Ray Robinson that I found . It's all very complicated.

Julie..Thanks for that, but I am sure Hyman died in his 50's.

Just wanted to eliminate the 'before she sailed' death.
