Have been trying to find a Daniel Robinson born in Whitby between 1808 - 1811 for the past 20 years!! He is known as EDR (elusive daniel robinson) in the family.
He was a Master Mariner at the time of his death in 1848 at Yarmouth aged 39.
Daniel married an Elizabeth Pool in Whitby in 1831. It is thought that his parents were a Daniel and Bridget nee White but to date I am not convinced.
If there is anyone "out there" who can help find this man in order that I can research further, I would be most grateful.
