MY NAME IS MARY MCMENAMIN NEE ROBINSON. I AM TRYING TO TRACE MY FAMILY TREE ON MY FATHERS SIDE THE ROBINSONS. HE WAS BORN IN TRANMEREIN CHESHIRE IN 1901. GEORGE REGINALD ROBINSON OTHER SIBLINGS INCLUDE BARBARA MARGARET JOHN EDWARD HIS FATHER,S NAME WAS GEORGE AND HIS MOTHER WAS ADA NEE DAWSON I HAVE A COPY HERE OF SOME OF THEIR DETAILS THAT MY BROTHER SENT ME. GEORGE BORN IN LANCS LIVERPOOL MARRIED IN BIRKINHEAD TO ADA DAWSON BORN LOWER REBINGTON CHESHIRE. MARRIED BETWEEN APRIL AND JUNE 1898 IN BIRKINHEAD.WHEN GEORGE WAS 28 AND ADA WAS 27 THEY HAD EDWARD AGED 2 AND STAYED AT 13 RANDLE STREET IN BIRKINHEAD. THIS INFORMATION WAS SUPPLIED BY THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES. THE SAID GEORGE AND ADA MY GRANDPARENTS CAME TO SCOTLAND WHEN MY GRANDFATHER WORKED IN PORTSUNLIGHT AND CAME TO THE SOAP WORKS IN RENFREW.
