Hi Can anyone help me. I am lookig for my father George Robinson. I know very little about him.He met my mother Florence Thornton while he was stationed around the Withernsea area of Yorkshire in 1942. I was born early 1943.She would not tell me much about him once she said he was married and a second time see said he wasnt. He wanted custody of me which she would not agree to so broke off all contact. My mother is now almost 95 and memory has gone, so I am assuming he would be around the same age born 1911ish. He was in the Army, and she mentioned Green Howards and Yorkshire Regiment. She also gave me an address in Withernsea, and when I looked it up on the electrol sure enough the Robinsons where there. but cant get any further. She did tell me he came from the Leeds area. All I would like if some one can help is a photograph. Regads Judith Hunter |
