I am looking for descendants of my grandfather Henri Robinson's family. Henri was born in Calais, France, (1878) the son of William Robinson and Marie Louise Brioit. Henri had two elder brothers, William and George (both born in Calais, 1875 and 1876) a younger brother James, born in Hyson Green, Notts (1881)and a sister Mary Louise, also born in Hyson Green (1884). Henri, a locomotive fireman, married Emma Elizabeth Seale and they settled in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. George became a gas fitter in Derby. Their mother Marie Louise died days after giving birth to her daughter and their father William died in 1888. The children were split up, with William and Henri ending up in the workhouse in Shardlow. I would love to make contact or hear from someone with clues to what became of them, especially, William, George, James and Mary Louise. Thank you Alan Robinson New Romney Kent
