I am trying to find anyone who may be related to FANNY ROBINSON who married Claude Henry Hornby Taylor and then became Fanny Taylor. The story goes that her mother was German (Sarah Ghott or Mann?) and her father was called John Robinson. They had four children FANNY, MARY, JOHN (who died at age 14) and SARAH(?). Mother died age 39 and father died aged 40, consequently 2 of the children were sent to an orphange and 2 were adopted. MOLLY was Fanny's sister and she married Lionel Pate, they had a daughter MARY PATE who was married to JOHNNY WEISMILLER(?) a famous swimmer. Fanny and Claude came from the ARdwick/Ancoats area of Manchester. |
