Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 7 Send Message	I am trying to trace my maternal grandfather. My mum, Kathleen Robinson was born in Blackburn, Lancashire on 7th May 1929. her mother was Sara/Sarah Robinson. born circa 1910. We have never known the identity of her father (my grandfather) My sisters and I would love to know who our real grandad, on my mum's side was. The father of Sara/Sarah (my great-grandad) was called Michael Robinson and had something to do with the building of Blackpool Tower. A few years ago a family member told me that Michael Robinson's name is on one of the top girders of the tower; I would love to know if this is true. Sara/Sarah, later married John Bolton from Blackburn and had a son. I have a picture showing my mum as a young girl with her grandparents (Michael Robinson and his wife, name unknown) There is also a connection with someone called Minna (sp) a German lady who I think married a cousin of my mum's. I would be very grateful for any information from anyone who knew or is connected to the Michael Robinson family from Blackburn. Many thanks.
