Looking for information on my father ARNOLD WILLIAM ROBINSON (called BOB) born 1901. He had a brother Archie and step-brother Charles Hector MILLARD. I believe his fathers name was WILLIAM and mother ALICE. ( But I have reason to believe that these may not have been his real parents,) but he was brought up by them. CanningTown,West Ham or Woolwich area. He did belong to the Buffs for some years. Also was an ARP warden in the war. Cant seem to find were he was from 1911 to 1928, before he met my mother. Trying to find out what country I originate from, Jamacia,Barbados. In 1901 census William his father was working for the Royal Woolwich Arsenal and it says he was from the West-Indies. Have any of these names ever come up in your tree. |
