ELAINE Barratt nee;CORDEN I am trying to trace my grandfather Ernest James Robinson's family. He was born 4-2-1902, and had one sister Winnie and one brother George. Winnie was married to Ted a steeple jack who came from London, they had a daughter Iris who married Jeff around 1960, I was their very young bridesmaid. Jeff was a barber on a cruise linner. The family came from Welling/Bexley Heath in Kent. My Great grandmother "Granma Dudson" lived with them for a while until her death, and they had a red setter dog named Bella!! George worked for the railway I think, they lived in Yatton. My mother's name was Gwen and my grandmother was Doris. If any of this rings a bell, I would love to hear from you with any information. |
