My grandmother was adopted in Dublin, Ireland. She kept her birth name, but as she was born out of wedlock, she was adopted through the church. I have not got any other information about her family. She was born c1920 in the Dublin area of Ireland. I would like to hear from anyone who can help trace her mothers family. Anyone out there whose great grandmother/grandmother had a child out of wedlock and had to give her away?
