Tried Lloyds list, CLIP, Hudson Bay CO. Everything! Can anyone help me find a crew list for "Kitty Of Newcastle" It sailed from London to Hudson Bay on the 25/6/1859 but wrecked in the Hudson Strait, 11 of the crew were murdered by Eskimos but 5 survived including a William Armstrong. The Captain was Alexander Ellis (Murdered). The ancestor involved is William Scott (also one of the murdered). I'd love the crew list to complete an amazing story that I would love to share. The Kitty's ship number may have been 1127 (this number belonged to a ship called Kitty which was built in Newcastle.

Thanks in advance for any eager hunters!! Iain

The ship was taking cargo to the Hudson Bay Company, doesn't look like it was on a whaling mission. I wish I could find more about The other crew. I have 3 names that should be in some sort of records. The other is John Crosse Brooks, he built the ship. Wish there wasn't somany dead ends!
