I trying to find decendants of Thomas, he married a Maud Rose Stone (dob.1919) in Norwich (mar. Apr-Jun 1944) and moved to Burnopfield, Co Durham. I have been informed by his late son also Thomas (dob. 1945) that his dad was in Northumberland Fusiliers and moved to Ashington, Northumberland but within 2 yrs parents split up, Maud moved back to Burnopfield with son and Thomas senior ??
Can you help? Thomas senior was believed in later life to have lived in the Gateshead area and had family?
Kind Regards, Steve (Grandson)

Have you got his marriage cert? Might help a bit to sort out his age, and maybe trace his parents by finding out his father's name. You could try looking for matches using "search trees" above.

Checked Military records and he was born in 1915, then spent 3 hours checking through the death records and had one match 1985, need to check further back upto 1944 when married for sure. The one traced died Llanelli, South Wales ...long way from where married or had his first son?

Does this Scott family sound like yours, are we a missing branch of your tree, would love to hear from you, Steve

I'm not related Stephen, just a helper! I would advise getting his marriage cert. to find out age & father's name, as without this i think you will struggle.

There are quite a few Thomas Scotts born in 1915 in the death records. Have you got his exact date of birth from his military records to know which death is the correct one?
Thanks
