Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	Trying to find any information on my ancestor David Greenhill Scott, married Elizabeth Eddleston in New South Wales, Australia in 1873. Their marriage certificate says he was born in Manchester, England. I found a record that says his parents were William Scott and Janet (no surname). The 'Greenhill' was carried on through the family but I've come to a dead end. Is there some place in or near Manchester thats called Greenhill? (I live in Australia) I can't find any birth for him on any records in England. He was born in 1851. Thanks for any help. Terri.
