The information i have is very vague, i am trying to find any information on my Gt Grandmothers brother . His name is either Alfred or Albert Scott and he had 1 sister my Gt Grandmother Mary Scott they came from Dublin area in late 1800's Their mothers maiden name was carroll or o'carroll. I believe they were orphaned now apparently he went and joined a ship and went to sea never to be seen again. One wonders where he went could be anywhere in the world, did he marry, did he have children , where did he settle, did he go back to ireland?. My Gt Grandmother had my grandmother in 1913 she was born in dublin, sometime after that they moved to england where they stayed... Anyone who has a Gt Grandfather surname of Scott originally from Dublin area who's mothers name was Carroll or O'Caroll pls get in touch. |
