i am trying to find out if there are any relatives of my dad john scott,he was born 28/09/1940.he was adopted by my nana agnes mcbain walker who married my grandad john pullar mcewan scott.i have a copy of a birth certificate & adoption certificate which states that the date of adoption was 16/11/1940,so i presume when he was adopted he got issued a new birth certificate.the reason i am trying to find out this information is both me,my sister,my son & my nephew have got a blood disorder called hereditary sphereocytosis,which we have discovered came from my dads side of the family.it's not life threatning,but we are interested to see if there is anyone who is related to him or was related to him,as it's quite rare the condition that we have.if anyone has any information,please get in touch with me, |
