I have come across a photograph of a Coldstream Guards section (possibly from a training battalion) dated Nov 1916. In it is a Private J Scott who I believe is my Great Grandfather, James and who came from the Liverpool UK area. He was married to Mary (Gibson) in the Kirkdale area and may have had sons called John and William in addition to my Grandfather Walter. John may have been killed in WW2 whilst serving in the RAF. Can anyone throw any further light on this please? Thanks |
