Member Since: December 2003 Posts: 2 Send Message	I am trying to find details of my great grandfather John Simmonds born in 1873. He married Esther Bradshaw in 1901. I think he may have come from Ireland and his surname was Fitzsimmonds before. He joined the Army (Mountain Artillery) and was a Sgt in 1901. He then worked as a Civil Servant in India (Rawalpindi). He retired in Sidmouth in Devon where he married Sarah Bradshaw after Esther's death (they were sisters). He died in 1966
