We are looking for any relatives of Samuel Smith, born in Gibraltar (entering Gibraltar aboard ship) about 1850; he married a Birmingham girl Mary Lucas b1851? when & where they got married we don’t know. The last known address from the 1901 census was 51 Humpage Road Bordesley Birmingham his occupation at that time was a Gas Stoker. We know they had 5 children all born in Birmingham, Walter William b1881, Esther b 1884, Gertrude Jane b1890, Samuel b 1894, & Albert b1897. Our ancestor is Walter William who married Harriet Emily Bullivant in 1902. They had 4 children all born in Birmingham, Harriet b1903, William b1907, Hilda b1911,Sylvia b1918. Does any one know the ancestors of Samuel Smith & Mary Lucas? |
