SPENCER's in ENGLAND (York and Darlington area) and CANADA Frederick Arthur Spencer born c.1866 birthplace unknown. Could be Lambeth, Kensington in London. Married Lucy Bond (born 1868 in York) on 11th May, 1890 at St Mary's Bishophill jnr. Frederick's Father was Henry William Spencer an Inspector at Waterloo Railway Station. May have been born in Derby? Lucy's Father was Joseph Bond a Traveller. born Shipton,Yorksh. Frederick was in the Queens 10th Hussars. He was still in the Army in 1901. Children were William Henry born c.1892 in Ireland died 1905 in Darlington. Alfred Alexander born c.1894 in York died 1905 in Darlington Arthur Albert born c.1896 in York Ivy Beatrice born c.1899 in York died 1907 in Darlington Olive May Spencer born c.1900 in York Lucy Annie Spencer born 1903 in York Ronald Joseph Spencer born 1908 in Darlington, Durham There may have been a daughter or Grandaughter PEARL Spencer ? Married a French Canadian 'Johnny' ? Possibly lived in CANADA? And could have been more children born after 1903? The family must have moved from York to Darlington sometime after 1901 Census.
