Hi, i'm trying to find information about my great grandma Clara Spencer Anderson born around 1887. I'm not sure with this one if i should be looking for the name of Spencer or Anderson?? I was told her fathers name was William Spencer, born around 1861, maybe in Nottingham. I have found this Spencer family in the 1901 census, living in Hyson Green which does make sense, but i just don't understand the name thing.....where or why would Anderson come into it?? The mothers name i have here is Louisa but i don't have a surname from the census so not sure if it may have been her name. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Krista |
