I am looking for relatives of Edith Spencer born 13th June 1897 died 1980 Approx. . Her parents ran the Bell Hotel in Queen's Park Bedford. She had a sister Mabel who married Trevor Thomas who lived in London. She had two other sisters who ran The Cricketers pub and The Carpenters Arms in Bedford. Edith Spencer married Kenneth Ratcliff I presume in Bedford but her twin sons John Arthur and Robert Kenneth (My Father) were born in Bradford Yorkshire on 5th May 1923. Kenneth Ratcliff was in The Gordon Highlanders. Any help on Edith's or Kenneth's families would be gratefully received Thank you. Carol. |
