Trying to find Spencer

Carole Report 2 Mar 2006 00:52

My name is Carole Lord and I am trying to trace my paternal grandfather Henry Spencer. Henry married Margaret Alice Rimmer on April 27th, 1911, at the Church of our Lady of Compassion in Formby, Lancashire. I have a copy of their marriage certificate which gives both their ages as 24, but in spite of searching the 1901 census I am unable to trace the dates of birth of either Henry or Margaret. Following their marriage in 1911, they went on to have 3 children, John Stanley born in 1915 (my father), Cyril born in 1917 and Eileen born in 1921. I would be very grateful for any information at all regarding my grandparents Many thanks.
