Trying to find out about my grandmothers relatives, her name was GRACE ANNIE SPENCER born 1907. She married my grandfather ARTHUR LEWIS BECKETT. Her father was ROBERT JOHN SPENCER who married GEORGINA MILTON and she had one brother MORRIS SPENCER. They came, i believe from the NEWARK area although DERBY has on occasion cropped up. I understand that there was something to do with a bakery....The 'Green Man' or 'Green Dragon' and as i understand it the bakery is still going although unconfirmed. Any info however insignificant it may seem would be greatly appreciated as i seem to keep hitting brick walls!!! Many thanks in advance Julie |
