Member Since: March 2004 Posts: 11 Send Message	Trying to trace SPENCER family in 1800's in London/Surrey and Monmouth. William (1838 Monmouth) married Amelia Roots(c1848 Merton, London/Surrey). They had lots of children - at least 8 possibly 10. Matilda Ann(1877) my great gran Martha(c1870) William(c1879) Amelia(1882) Ethel(1884) Lillie Rose(1885) Elizabeth Matilda(1875) Herbert(c1888) All children were born in Merton. Herbert went to live in Australia and visited the UK again in mid to late 1930's. My Uncles remember him. he married and had a family there but we lost contact.
