I am the neice of Frances Rose Spencer (nee Goddard) born in Aston, Birmingham on Aug 9th c. 1904. She married Frederick Spencer the eldest son of a building firm in Sutton Coldfield in Warwickshire and had two daughters in that area called Doreen Christine b. 1925 and Hilary b. 1928. The family lived at Weston.super Mare running a guest house or small hotel then migrated to Christchurch, New Zealand. The girls married either Australian men or New Zealanders and one of the children or grandchildren was called Christopher. Later a relative called Kim (female) visited her my Aunt Winifred (Frances Rose's sister) at her home in Birmingham probably around 1980 before she died. If anyone could supply me with additional information for my family tree I would be very pleased to receive it. Thanks from Ruth. |
