Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 13 Send Message	I have been searching for my great aunt Mary Alice Rose for some time now for my father as she brought him up when his mother Jane Ann Storey died at the age of 33. I know she was born in 1892 Mary Alice Rose in Durham and she had a son Joseph Lawrence Rose born 1915. I cannot find any trace of a marriage for her or a death. My father say he thinks she died between 1945-1950 but he doesn't know for sure as he was placed, along, with his brothers in the Royal Liverpool Seamans Orphanage when he was six. They always knew her as Alice Storey but there is no mention of Storey on her birth certificate and on her sons birth cert in 1915 she is Mary Alice Rose. Her mother married a Joseph Storey. Thanks.

Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 13 Send Message	Thanks Pam, I do have most of that info I have been looking for Alice for ages now as you can see she is Alice Storey aged 8 on the 1901 census but she was Mary Alice Rose on her birth certificate. I have paid out a fortune in marriage and death certs that came to nothing it's just such a mystery??
