Hi, I'm Oliver Ford and I'm trying to locate my grandmother who's name is/was Marjorie Cecile Taylor.
My mother was born Anne Elizabeth Taylor in Westmorland on 29th March 1951. She was adopted later (3/9/51) by Margaret Maud and Philip Ronald Sprigings who gave her the name Janet Annabel Sprigings.
I think my mother's adopted brother is called Nigel Sprigings and lives in the Newcastle area. His wife was Wendie Sprigings but she died in approx 1984.
My mum married Christopher John Ford in the early 1970's.
If anyone knows who Marjorie Cecile Taylor is I'd be thrilled!
Thanks,
Ollie

Hi Oliver
Do you know when & where Marjorie was born?
Do you have your mothers original birth certificate?
If so, that would give an address as to where Marjorie was living at that time.
regards Sue

Thanks Sue,
I've ordered my mum's BC so we'll see what it says on there.
Cheers,
Ollie
